Grow bigger plants with more blooms (vs. unfed) with Expert Gardener™ Potting Mix for Potted Plants. This potting soil is specially formulated for both indoor and outdoor container plants, and feeds up to 6 months. Repotting your indoor plants should be done on a regular basis to help maintain beauty and growth. Select a new pot that is slightly larger than the original with drainage holes. Fill the pot with enough Expert Gardener™ Potting Mix for Potted Plants so that the rootball of the plant is approximately 1 inch below the pot rim. Pat the soil down gently and water. For outdoor plants, make sure to use containers with drainage holes. This potting soil gives my 4 yr old Christmas cactus a perfect balance. 
It gives all of my potted plants indoor our outdoor,  all the nutrients they need.
It comes in a generous bag and feeds my plants up to 6 months!
I have had to repot my Christmas cactus each year since it grows so much!
It flowers beautifully each year from November to January. 
I do not add anything other than water to my plants…so nice!

Since I've switched to using Potting mix for my indoor plants they have flourished. It allows air and water to get through to the roots easier by keeping from it compacting so much. Plus, this potting mix is sterile which will keep your plants from getting fungus which could happen with using plain soil.

The Expert Gardener Potting Mix for Indoor & Outdoor Potted Plants, 8 Qt came in the mail for me, and I busily began work on transplanting the tulips I had got my mother for her recent birthday.  The soil potting mix was very dark and looked healthy with a good smell.  The soil had a perfect feel beneath my fingertips.

*Uses*

It can be used for Indoor or Outdoor plants. So after I planted the tulips in the back yard, I noticed I really needed to fertilize my American Wisteria that I have been growing a couple of years.  It loves the Expert Gardener Potting Mix!

Next, I put some around the Snowdrift Crab Apple Tree. I went around several other plants that needed more soil until it was depleted.  I will have to get more.

The Expert Gardener Potting Mix for Indoor & Outdoor Potted Plants, 8 Qt is easy to use and pour from the bag or use a scoop.

* Conclusions *

I also had enough potting mix left over to use on a couple of my indoor plants.  So I feel I got a very good value.

Good Value for a Potting Soil Mix

I really like this potting soil. The dirt is nicely mixed and no yucky pieces found inside. I like the fact that it nourishes plants as they grow. You can use it for inside and outside plans. I mostly have outside plants and the dirt seems to hold up well in the hot temps I have where I live. I planted some strawberries but they haven't grown yet. Hoping this soil will help because of the nutrients in it.

Clean and nice  potting soil.

i havent had my plants in this for long but it filled up all my outdoor pots and is doing a lot of work. we're a week in and my herbs and vegetables seem happy. i would say it is definitely worth the price, especially for bulk planting. not fancy but perfectly good.

We have an indoor mint plant that we used this on. From the time we added this soil , the plant started looking healthier and blooming.  It definitely helped the plant grow and made the mint smell stronger. This soil gave it the necessary nutrients to allow our plant to thrive. Definitely recommend !

High quality soil mix

The delivery took longer then other items ordered at this same time. Issue is between the time item was shipped and delivered it rained. Package had a hole and filled up with water.  Just not satisfied with packaging. %233 stars because of packaging. Thank you for the try.

Walmart delivery when it rains!

Has Bugs and Killing my plant of 20 years! Filled with small gnat like bugs. I had a healthy and sturdy plant that I have had for 20 years. Added this soil to it and my plant tanked, turning brown with soggy leaves. I am now desperately trying to save my plant and its offspring. (Sorry pic is not in better focus.)

So disappointed in this so-called “expert” mix. Upon opening the bag and scooping out what I thought would be enough for transplanting one plant from a 6” to a 10” pot, I discovered the mix to be at least 25% wood -- slivers, shavings, twigs and chips — some 3-4” long. 

I also needed soil to start seeds, but this wasn't fine enough, so I ended up sifting it using a colander with 1/4” holes. Herbs and other seeds often come with instructions to cover with a thin layer of “fine soil”. Ha! Not with this stuff. 

It says “processed forest products” as one of the ingredients. Unfortunately, they didn't process it enough. I ended up putting the rest of it into the potato patch, to use for mounding. 

From now on, it's nothing but Miracle Grow potting soil for me!

Too much wood!

Did not get what i ordered.  i ordered  5 bags of 2cubic feet 56.6 liter bags of soil and they only gave me 8 bags of 4qt or 8.8 liter bags. i did not get the amount i ordered and need money back  on what i did not receive since i only got not even partial of what i ordered
