I lost a bit of weight and had no idea what size pants I needed. I was a size 20W, 220 lbs. After about 5 months on a lifestyle change and new healthier higher protein, plantbased eating plan, I've lost 30 lbs so far. A plan any elderly person should be doing. I can definitely live with this way of eating for the rest of my life. I DO miss my cherry coke! Currently, I am 5' 4". I weigh 188 lbs. I have a thick middle section. No hourglass shape, more of a swimmers body. And I WAS a swimmer/diver! So, I took a chance on the size 16 paper bag jeans. I knew full well that my waist was a little larger than the size chart said. Lucky me! They fit as if tailor-made. I had hoped the elastic waist would allow for my thicker middle and it did. JUST. There's not very much leeway but just enough to sit comfortably with no bulges. I bought the off-white. They remind me of a VERY UPDATED version of the old "painters pants". Im 64 so those who remember those pants I liken the material to a thick muslin cotton. These are sturdy, well sewn like a jean should be, and not cheaply made. At $26 it was one of the few alternatives that I could find that didn't scream blue jeans. I have tons of those and was hoping for something more casual clean-up for summer. I wanted a thinner material than these have but I am just happy to find something that fit playing a totally online guessing game. A game I rarely win. 😉 I suppose you can get rid of the tie belt it isn't attached but there are sewn on belt hoops. If you want, you could remove those with a razor as well, in order to leave your shirt over top of the pants rather than tucking. The gathering isn't major enough to puff out if you wore a looser fitting tee over top. I'm going to tuck, something that I hardly ever do. These pants lend themselves perfectly for tucking. A tight top will make the rolls show . I'd suggest a non form fitting style to forgive the less than perfect waist. I do recommend these "jeans." Im going for the mustard color next. No hemming. You know that is worth a second pair for the quality at this price. I can wear about a 2 inch heel with these. I will wear my Fit Flops or tennies.

Well made worth the $$. Size chart good,Length 35?

These pants are so cute and flattering! They run true to size! I made the mistake of buying a size down because the Time and Tru utility pants were huge on me at my usual size (a 4; I'm 27 waist, 38 hip, and about 120lbs) so now I've got size 2 in the paperbag jeans but need a size 4... and they're all sold out:( Please bring them back in stock! The yellow is a nice slightly mustard color. The fabric is a good mid-weight, perfect for spring or even summer! The elastic waist is so comfortable and the belt is a perfect touch to emphasize the paperbag waist. The leg hit at  my ankle. I'd keep the size 2s but sadly they are too tight across my hip. I do wish they fit because I LOVE these pants! Fingers crossed Wally decides to bring them back.

Love these! They fit true to size %26 are very comfortable! I've been looking for a pair of off white pants for a while now %26 these are perfect, especially with the contrast stitching!

The material is soft and pants are well made for a causal look.   I wear a size 14 and they fit perfectly.   Elastic waist is comfortable,  the legs are not baggy.   I think it is a good purchase.

Good casual pant

Fantastic deal %26 super cute. I would say these were just a tad bit smaller than true to size.  I ordered one size up from my normal size, based on reviews, but tad bit big, but I don't think my normal size would have fit as well.

The stitching is a medium brown so it paired great w a brown top and shoes for a great start of fall look.

I have 5'10” and they hit me just above the ankle.

Many compliments- great price

I was happy to see the quality of these immediately. Very well made-buttons even sewn in so they won't fall off. The style is flattering for those of us with a flat behind and very comfortable. Really, really like!

High quality and so comfy!

I'm short, 5'2', so figured that unattractive high-water model length would end up being normal length for me. It was! Be aware that fly buttons are decorative, these are pull on jeans. Nice medium-dark finish, medium weigh. Comfortable. I got more than my money's worth in terms of quality and wearability.

Liked it much better than anticipated

These are really cute! I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I was pleasantly surprised. They are a pretty heavy denim. Thinking I might get away with them for school. They're clearly denim, but the paper bag waist and button front give them a fashionable feel that doesn't scream “jeans.” True to size. I'll have to have them shortened, but that's pretty typical. I'm taking off a star because I wish they weren't faded, but otherwise, 5 stars.

Surprisingly good!

These pants didn’t work for me in the off white color bc you could see my underwear. They also fit smaller and not TTS. I didn’t like the wood look buttons or the brown top stitching. They didn’t fit my apple figure. The waist stretches, but it changes the look if waist is not that loose paper bag fit and emphasized my thicker waist. Probably better for slimmer figure and in darker color. I returned these.

Not for everyone
