Succulents are all the rage right now, and it should be super easy to grow them since they require so little water, right? Wrong! Succulents may be on trend, but they are actually quite finicky to grow, requiring just the right amount of sun light and growing conditions. So finicky in fact, that I seem to kill every one I buy, but I love them. Better Homes & Gardens has made a perfect alternative to save my black thumb- a fantastic wooden box succulent planter that looks so real, you will have to touch it to tell the difference. The box is the perfect on-trend wood color right now. The "dirt" really looks like textured black dirt. The planter is full of beautiful faux succulent plants, and is not skimpy at all. It is a perfect size for a window sill or a table top (I have mine on my outdoor table). It measures about nine inches long, five inches wide and about 4 inches tall. It has about ten faux succulents, which make it nice and full. This planter makes the perfect gift, or the perfect decor item to brighten any room, and I highly recommend the quality.

Looks so real!

I love plants... sometimes too much and then I kill them on accident. I have purchased other fake plants before but usually felt they looked super fake. When I got this one, I was impressed by how similar to my real succulents it looked. I like the color variety and even the “dirt” has little tiny “rocks” or something similar so it looks more realistic. From afar, I don't know if anyone could tell a difference. The only “give away” may be the ones that are hanging out of the box but from far away, it may not be as noticeable as up-close (and even that is minor). I am floored by how well it looks. It was a little heavier than I was originally anticipating (heavier than my succulent plants that I've kept alive) but feels well constructed/well made. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who likes the look of plants or succulents but has a hard time maintaining them. I included an image of this product in front of my real succulent to show how similar they look. Very very happy with this!

Super impressed

Very attractive faux planter box. Looks great on my shelf. Several people have thought they were real. So I guess that's as good as it gets. They will need to be wiped down once a month with a damp cloth as they do attract dust in the nooks and crannies of the plants but living in Florida I'm used to lots of dust in the A/C.

We just moved into our new home and I wanted to have a few decorations that weren't super expensive. I wanted plants but didn't want the upkeep of a real plant. This was perfect! I have it on our kitchen table as a centerpiece.
